"What you call joy in the negative, we call not Drinking the KOOL-AID!"

Since you have your GED exam coming, I will only give you one reading assignment:

Reading for the confused.

Lesson #1- Right and Wrong in Politics

Read. The Melian Dialogue. See how Democratic Athens took care of its interest. Of what use was morality in denying Athens her interest?

Remember what Professor Roberto Cassa stated about your idol, Juan Bosch:

"Few in the party's [PLD]core showed any doubts about its embrace of neoliberalism[1996], and none publicly expressed any opposition to the collusion with Balaguerism. There apparently was a consensus to obtain power no matter what the price--a stance that received its calm justification from Bosch's old preachings on the separation of politics and ethics."

Roberto Cassa is professor of history at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo

And like you and me he is entitled to his opinion!

That’s all it is an opinion; since Dr. Bosch can’t come back to disprove him or me, as to whether he was of sound mind or a decrepit old man being manipulated by what turned out to be his NARCO- disciple, LIE-onel Fernandez.

Josean,

First do the readings, then answer:
what do you think about morality and politics?

By the way, did Bosch ever earn his PhD? I know that he began to be called "Profesor" while in Costa Rica, under a Political School program financed by the CIA. By the way, I wish no offense in seeking your reply.

Titles are apparently something that is very important to you; however that is not the sole measure of human being's success or worth to society.

George Bush has an MBA form Harvard and he did such "good job" running the country especially the deficit.

So whether Dr. Bosch got his PhD from the CIA or a mail order outfit in South Carolina is not relevant what is relevant is the sacrifice he made for the Dominican Republic and for the cause of Dominican democracy. If you what to denigrate him to justify the PLD's moves to the extreme right and its adopting policies that are beneficial to wealthy elites in DR at the expense of the masses, that’s your prerogative no matter how wrong you are.

However, your manipulative attacks, the revisionists’ historians you quote nor LIE-onel Fernandez with his sweet rhetorical BS, will not be able to erase that from history.

Fortunately Dr. Bosch’s words and actions will speak into the future much longer than yours and LIE-onel Fernandez’s.

“Bill Gates, billionaire co-founder of Microsoft, one of the richest men in the world, philanthropist. Dropped out of Harvard after his second year. As he noted, “I realized the error of my ways and decided I could make do with a high school diploma.”

"William Shakespeare, playwright, poet. Only a few years of formal schooling."

Fred Smith, is the founder, chairman, president, and CEO of FedEx,

In 1962, Smith entered Yale University. While attending Yale, he wrote a paper for an economics class, outlining overnight delivery service in a computer information age. Folklore suggests that he received a C for this paper, although in a later interview he claims that he told a reporter, "I don't know what grade, probably made my usual C", while other tales suggest that his professor told him that, in order for him to get a C, the idea had to be feasible. The paper became the idea of FedEx (for years, the sample package displayed in the company's print advertisements featured a return address at Yale). Smith became a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity and the secret society Skull and Bones.[4][5] He received his Bachelor's degree in economics in 1966. In his college years, he was a friend of George W. Bush.

Josean,

I said I meant no offense. Caballero, you're drinking too much caffeinated stuff, Red Bull?

I never brought up the subject of Bosch's doctorate until you posted him as Dr. Bosch. I merely wanted some clarification on the matter. ¿Qué Pasa? As for academic titles being the end all, I've never said anything like that, you implied this meaning without justification. Look it up.

As for the school in Costa Rica, you should do a little research on the matter; it'll prove worth your time. There are many surprises ahead for you if you dare treat Mr Bosch as a mere mortal, and not an idol. Peña-Gómez also attended this same school in Costa Rica, after Bosch was removed from office. For what it's worth, I think that Bosch was the US's fall back position during the December 20, 1962 elections. The US preferred Fiallo and the National Unión Cívica, but they had prepared the grounds with Bosch, too. For sure Don Juan Bosch was a better Dominican than Dr. Balaguer.

Wow isn't that a brilliant conclusion, how gracious of you.

Millions of Dominicans will be indebted to you for that SEAL of Approval!
