Pedernales, Dominican Republic.- Dominican and Haitian authorities cut the ribbon to inaugurate the 4th Binational Ecotourism and  Production Fair, an event which for 16 days will exhibit the attractions of the country’s Southwest, Haiti’s Southeast, visitors will treated to various science and art programs and where diverse products will be on sale.

The activity between the towns Pedernales and Anse-a-Pitre aims to feature the eco-tourism of Pedernales province and Haiti’s Southeast, as bolster trade and friendship between Dominican and Haiti neighbors.

European Development Funds coordinator Domingo Jiménez said the European Union contributed 470,000 euros to stage the event.

He also announced the European Commission’s approval, within the Haiti-DR binational program, of 47 million euros. He said the efforts to be carried out throughout the border zone will be announced in the next few days.

I agree that there are lots of people in DR that do preach hate and racism. But not all Dominicans are like that. I don't sweat it. The fun part of this is the ones that does it, are darker than me.. SMH

i wish that the haitian government will need to stand over and look what the dominican will do. cause when they"re just have to be leader they"re only have to think about what the US government will give them.
