Santo Domingo.– Renowned mixologist and master barman Gabriel Orta will give a lecture on molecular mixology as part of the program of the Hotel and Restaurants Association (Asonahores) Trade Exhibit, to be held at Dominican Fiesta Hotel from August 25 to 28.

Gabriel Orta was born in Colombia and has been working in the food and beverage industry for over 12 years. His South American influence gives his work an exotic and unique flavors. His knowledge of gastronomy has inspired him to work with ingredients in his cocktails.

Constantly drawing inspiration from the culinary world around him, Orta translates the combinations of flavors he encounters on the plate into perfection in a glass. His dedication as a chef and as a mixologist led him to co-found Bar-Lab.

This year Asonahores features the innovative pre-established appointments and those interested may participate in workshops, courses and conferences on hotel and tourism, including gastronomic and cultural activities.Orta´s lecture is acheduled for 26 August at 6:00 pm at Pitiusas Hall of the Dominican Fiesta Hotel.
