SANTO DOMINGO. - United States ambassador Raul Yzaguirre will be the lecturer for the gathering of business leaders hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAMDR), through Provincial Committee of Puerto Plata.
The activity slated for Friday, January 13 in the Conference Hall of the Hotel Gran Ventana, of the complex Playa Dorada, will start at 6pm.
Yzaguirre’s dissertation, titled “Incidence of American tourism in Dominican Republic’s economy,” arose from the idea that the United States is an important ally for the country in relation to the number of tourists who visit its hotels and beaches.
The diplomat will also showcase the current actions that can be generated from Puerto Plata’s economic surroundings as a zone relevant for foreign investment in the tourism sector and its potential to surpass levels never before reached.
