SD- As part of the activities to mark the "National Day of the Dominican Craftsman," the Dominican Tourism Competitiveness Consortium (CDCT), hosted the country’s first "Potter’s Wheel Show" through the Sustainable Tourism Empowerment Program, sponsored by the U.S. Agency for International Development, USAID.

The activity, which sought to showcase micro clay potters while crafting pieces in their potter’s wheel, also aims to promote authentic Dominican artisanship.
