CHARLESTON, S.C. — The cruise ship Aida Aura is now sailing from New York to the Dominican Republican, after making a port call in Charleston, whose cruise industry has grown in recent years.
The outlet The Republic reports that the ship’s stop in Charleston on Thursday will be a daylong visit.
It adds that the 1,300-passenger ship is on a 15-day cruise to the Dominican Republic, after setting said from Charleston, a Middle Atlantic city, homeport of the famous ship, Carnival Fantasy.

in the 1st place their is lots of captial in the states and other countrys many companys are looking for investments world-wide, but not many to make at this time.

u have safe transportation? u have a real police force and army?

key west is only 2x4 its a very small island.
south florida and the florida keys had over 187 million tourists vist last year. this year its going way over these numbers from 2011.
key west its hard to find even one piece of trash in the streets. the waters and the beaches {not many beaches in the fl. keys} are very clean and beautiful. not much crime to speak of in the keys. i have lived here for over 11 years and as of today i have never locked my door for my house.
we protect the wild life and the fish and the reef we have over here.
we have special police called fish and wild life.. if one takes fish or lobster out of season your going to get arrested. they take your boat also.
if u take undersize fish or lobster your going to jail.
if u damage the reef in any form your going to jail.
so we have some thing that brings the tourists by the millions to us in the keys.

not pushing the keys on any one. but maybe u can learn from this.
u make more money from the tourists when u have a living reef {which one day u had one in the dr. that was about 7,000 old and the locals chopped it up and sold it for a few pesos}. u make more money when u have lots of living tropical fish, when u have wild life for all to enjoy.
nice to have have clean beaches and rivers for all to enjoy not only the tourists but the locals that can bring their wife and kids to enjoy a day at the rivers and the clean beaches.
but for now enjoy the choo choo train.
all aboard the choo choo and see the tide comes in in santo domingo and see the tons of trash that flows into the ports..
