Santo Domingo.– The annual Dominican Tourism Exchange (DATE) will return to Punta Cana from April 16-18, announced the Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic (ASONAHORES), its main organizer.

The 14th edition of this important trade fair, which is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, will include more than 400 tourism-oriented delegates from over 130 companies from the Western Hemisphere and Europe.

Participants in the 2012 edition jumped 24% over the previous year, when 108 tour operators and travel agents attended. Also 3,510 appointments took place with tourism industry representatives.
