Santo Domingo. - The Environment Ministry and the Propagas Foundation will jointly manage an area of the Valle Nuevo National Park, near the central mountain city of Constanza, and today Wednesday announced the members of the council which will plan and execute the protected area’s vigilance.

Heading the signing ceremony for the agreement were Environment minister Ernesto Reyna and Propagas Foundation president Rosa Bonetti, whose effort for Valle Nuevo’s conservation began since her appointment as director of the reserve in 2009.

The Environment-Propagas pact assigns shared management of the visitors’ center, the area of the Pyramids and around 80, of Valle Nuevo’s 910 square kilometers.
