Santo Domingo. - The Public Works Ministry said Tuesday the reconstruction of the Guaymate-La Romana road (east) advances, and includes repairs demanded by area residents, tourism industry and transport leaders.
It said the work was slated to last 18 months and to conclude by yearend, at a cost of RD$320.0 million.
The road spans La Romana’s districts of Guerrero, with 13.7 km Guerrero-Guaymate, 5.8 km, and Guaymate-El Pintao 15.3 km.
The span La Romana-Guerrero has is 13 km where work includes weeding and reconditioning of the first 4 km of the entire road.
