Many coves as this in Brazil, but perhaps a bit pricy to visit. Boca de Yuma.

Best way to increase Brazilian tourism is by arranging direct charter flights from Rio, Sao Paolo to DR
destinations, mainly SD, Punta Cana, Samana.
Beaches in Brazil do not come close to the shallow beaches in DR, as far as water warmth, cleanliness, and texture of sands.
Also DR will surely welcome all those Brazilian foxy babes, 'pa mejorar la raza.

why would anyone from brazil want to come here with all the beaches and rivers they have over there like ipanima beach and all those bodacious women.are u nuts.more men would go there from the states if it was closer but its far to travel there on the regular and expensive.so we just settle for dominican republic and the 3 hr flight haha lol.

How many times have you been to Brazil? Or are you Brazilian?
Ipanema beach's water are cold as the North pole, and many just go to display their bodies and take the sun rays. Best beach in Brazil is Buzio's and it is tiny compared to our beaches.
If you are Brazilian and have never experienced the warm, clean, shallow waters of the Caribbean ocean, you don't know what you are missing!
Tudo Bon!

The two great problems with going to Brazil is that you need a visa every time and the airports are worse than those in Miami and LAX ..so the DR should win hands down ..no visas for most and quick time through the airports

generoso is right..
I did my master in Brazil long years ago and I can tell you Ipanema beach is cold, dark grey and no palm trees.
For people that doenst know, the regular temperature of Caribbean sea is 35 'C .. 2 degrees less than human body temp. .
For us we take it from granted, but for a foreigner , it's a overwhelming experience..
Again, we're bless by God..

The keys and mountains off ipanema are beautiful but the beach is nothing to brag about. You look back and you see the mountains full of favellas and the black kids high, sleeping on the street.
It's not a pretty sight.
