The five-star hotel is the newest addition to the Iberostar Bavaro Golf & Spa Resort, which includes the Iberostar Bavaro Hotel, Iberostar Punta Cana and Iberostar Dominicana.
Located just 35 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport Grand
Hotel Bavaro features 260 luxuriously decorated suites, 13 oceanfront
Grand suites and one elegant presidential suite. All suites feature an
intimate whirlpool overlooking the balcony for a breath-taking view of
the ocean or gardens.
The resort also boasts a magnificent two-story
ocean front spa, offering couples-oriented treatments in a relaxed
atmosphere decorated with mosaics made by local Dominican
artists.
Iberostar's team of designers, led by Majorcan artist Jose Deudero, incorporated decor inspired by classical Greek and Roman design concepts to inspire purity, harmony, order and symmetry.

DT had nothing better to report, or so they think
Still, I like the idea of "adults only" in all its meanings.

@ Mike:
The headline says 'becomes'. That could imply that it, (the resort), was something else - in terms of its hospitality niche - prior to now. Personally, I thought they were reporting a makeover of an old property to entice new turistas, (AKA 'DINKS'), who don't want to have to put up with screaming kids. No kids usually equates to more discretionary income to be exploited.
(DINKS = Double Income No Kids) LOL.
But, you may be right in as much as the article does not specify which.
@ BLANCO, stillhere, & elBuscoon:
I didnt see this as advertising as you obviously have. I felt it was just DT simply providing a cross section of headlines from the ENTIRE paper - of which this is just one. After all, they DO have a 'tourism' section in the paper. No?
