Santo Domingo.- Thousands of people from all sectors of the Capital enjoyed the colorful and raucous  National Carnaval Parade a long stretch of the seaside Malecon on Sunday, with the participation of troupes and floats from most of the country’s provinces and municipalities, and even from other countries.

Carnaval kings Milly Quezada and Fernando Villalona inaugurated the parade on the Culture Ministry’s official chariot, to the cheers of an electrified crowd who attended the annual event, this year dedicated to the town of Bani, in southern Peravia province.
