Fifty exhibitors kick off ‘Tu Pais” national cultural and tourism fair

Santo Domingo.- The National Fair “Tu Pais” was launched Thursdaynight bringing together the country’s cultural expressions and tourists attractionson one stage, and will continue through Sunday at the Sambil shopping mall mainsalon.

Fifty exhibitors of Dominican Republic’s cultural area andtourism sector participate the national event representing all regions of thecountry and twelve destinations, showcasing their most emblematic attributes,including the major resort regions.

"Tu Pais" aim s to contribute to the promotion andrecognition of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the DominicanRepublic and its format combines the exhibition and sale of goods and theintegration of public interactively, who together with exhibitors are the starsof the event,” the promoters said in the inaugural, headed by Teddy De Lara, presidentof the event organizer Target Marketing Consultants, with deputy Tourism ministerFausto Fernández.

"Today the doors of ‘Your Country’ open to revalue inthe spirit and consciousness of Dominicans our rich heritage whilestrengthening the indissoluble link between culture and tourism, an importantformula that will help us achieve sustainable development we aspire, " DeLara said.
