Adam & Eve garb

Santo Domingo.- More than 3,000 nudists will visit Puerto Plata aboard the cruise ship Carnival Pride next Saturday, Tourism deputy minister Julio Almonte announced Thursday.

The official said however that cruise nudist will "naturally pause the use of Adam's suit" during their tour of the destination. "None of the nudist visitors will be able to get off the boat without clothes not even within the Maimon terminal and much less visit the city in a state of nudity."

It's the first time a ship with nude passengers docks at the Amber Cove cruise terminal since it started operations on October 6, 2015.

More than 470,000 cruise passengers visited Carnival's last cruise port at Maimon last year, and took in the attractions of the north coast's major tourism destination

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that the revival of Puerto Plata would be headed by nudism .

I find this news so irrelevant. Who cares if they go naked on their ship? as long as they respect the country and wear clothes on the streets, the fact that they are "nudists on the boat" is nobody's business. SMH

Where is the outrage from the Catholic Church. OOppps ! I forgot, it walks hand in hand with the gov't and the gov't want this for the tourism dollars. Thus, Church silence.
