MIAMI.- The National Hurricane Center today announced that tropical depression 27 regenerated to become Tropical Storm Gamma, at 3:00 PM Central Standard Time.

The government of Belize has issued a tropical storm warning for the entire coast of that nation, whereas the government of Honduras has issued the same warning for the Bay Islands of that country.

Tropical storms conditions are expected in that region within the next 24 hours.

In addition, the government of Mexico has issued a tropical storm watch for the eastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, from the Belize-Mexico border northward to Punta Allen.
