Although to me it WAS justified on the dropping of the A-Bomb on Japan during WW2, and it probably saved more in American and Japanese lives in the long run plus it ended the war sooner, after all we did not know all the effects on future generations from radiation, besides just think for a minute of all the thousand upon thousands of innocent Woman and Children who perished [ not all Japanese were behind the Imperialist SOB's and the bombing was not aimed at Civilian targets but Industrial ones ] the lucky ones died on the spot, thousands suffered a slow miserable death and in some cases 1-3 decades later, so you can see the Japanese when it comes to anything regarding Radiation it's still a very touchy Subject. Now as far as ACCIDENT- The word is simple...It means an act with out unintentional Planning, Malice, Forethought and no pleasure seeking. ACCIDENTS DO HAPPEN that's why we call them ACCIDENTS.

We just want all radioactive leak in the Caribbean whether from nuclear waste shipments (via the Canal de Panama) or the passage of nuclear driven vehicles to be reported and to minimize the presence of nuclear waste in the Caribbean. Puerto Rico and Cuba have experimental nuclear reactors and hopefully, they are reporting whatever releases they had in the past. Let's keep the Caribbean free of nuclear material (whether fuel, waste or research material).
