Haiti´s president Rene Preval welcomes Queen Sofia.
Zoom Picture

Port-au-Prince.– After a visit to the Dominican Republic where she met with President Leonel Fernandez and wife Margarita Cedeño, and donated some $23 million euros for development plans, Queen Sofia arrived in Haiti and talked to President Rene Preval upon her arrival at the airport in Port-au-Prince.

In Haiti, Sofia will deliver humanitarian aid collected in Spain to aid storm and hurricane victims and visit southern areas, mainly Gonaives and Jacmel. During her two-day visit, she will tour food assistance programs, a micro-credit project and meet people displaced by some of the four recent hurricanes that killed nearly 800 people nationwide.

It's funny that just when I was removing my post I see this clown GIZMO giving DannyVC an high five.

Do you people really think about the shit that you post? You're making fun of people's misery, poor people. It can be any nationality, I don't care, but when you lower yourselves to denigrade poor people, you've become part of the problem.

I have no idea what dirt cookies are, but you know what's probably worst than dirt cookies?

Having nothing to eat . Good-Bye.

Gadaffi is better. Co-operation could lead to the re-establishment of the piracy trade - in the interests of Poor Dominicans. Luxury yachts could be seized and hidden. El Pirata Cofresi held distributions of goods seized from the Spanish to help the poor Dominican people.

I think piracy is far better at raising funds than kidnapping. It can have a 'blind eye' from the government and stimulates trade - and makes poor people richer.
GC needs more education in his land of broken down TV's where he lurks to snare unsuspecting tourists to fund his caviar and champage!
There is endless admiraqtion in the World for Gadafi as one of the few people to stand up against US imperialists. Hopefully now more US people kill themselves in unsafe trucks!
