San Juan.– More than 200 Puerto Rican
police and federal agents stormed a housing project Friday,
arresting two dozen drug trafficking suspects in an operation intended
to halt bloody turf battles between gangs.
The pre-dawn raid in
Naguabo, which netted 24 of 29 wanted suspects, was part of a strategy
to eliminate trafficking networks in this U.S. Caribbean territory –a
major transshipment point for South American cocaine and heroin bound
for the U.S. mainland.
Luis Fraticelli, head of the FBI's office
in Puerto Rico, said that the arrested suspects were part of a gang
headed by Jaime Davila Reyes, who police accuse of distributing drugs
from Cauguas and Naguabo housing projects. He has not been arrested.
The ring is believed to be responsible for the shooting deaths of six rivals, Fraticelli said at a news conference in San Juan.

The problem the way I see it......the marijuana of today is 10x more potent then that of decades ago plus it's so easy to grow your own all that's needed is good rich soil, a pot, seeds, water, plenty of sunshine, no Morals / ethics and be money greedy.
Many illegal marijuana growing operations have gone indoors to avoid law Enforcement. My real fear is the possibility of indoor production of peyote, mushrooms, LSA, angel dust, methamphetamine etc..etc.. production and the crime associated with.
In America we have a pill for everything, never mind all the side effects.
Trust me I'll against ALL ILLEGAL and the abuse of legal DRUGS.
JUST A THOUGHT..........with all the drug and alcohol related crime do we need to add more to the already existing problems.

How about the drug profits made to resupply the weapons and explosives needed to continue the war.
Hugo-a-go-go of Venezuela is an expert on this and would like nothing more then to assist the drug flow to the U.S via Colombia. All Country's use quick drug profits to support and sustain there so called "leftist views" for a social revolution.
Afghanistan's only cash crop is opium. Why not try and grow badly needed food instead. I believe you keep the People, Children starving and in disparate need to victimize them, therefore threw desperation demonize the U.S.
After all Socialism to me is a poor Mans Capitalism threw control and power. One takes then gives, while the other earns and prospers. WORK, WORKS remember.
Question; why not live in Cuba ?
I'm sure your enjoying your life in the Dom. Rep. and taking advantage of the prosperity, unlike in Cuba.

riosm, Great post man! I agree with all and you have very thought provoking remarks. It must aggravate the yankee regime of the potential market share Hugo could capture. The toughest one to answer is living in Cuba. Unfortunately for me, I come from a communist terrorist run state called the USA and the Totalitarian police state government there prohibits my travel to Cuba as many communist regimes do. Someday when Citizenship is swapped out (not easy) and I am no longer a slave to the US Regime, I will explore Cuba. I am sure it is not perfect or a paradise as there is nowhere perfect. However, growing up in the USA and seeing the great loss of freedoms afforded at too high a price to pay is no longer value and I am willing and anxious to switch out one for the other. The problem again lies with the unwillingness of the US Government to relinquish control of their slaves due to strongholds placed upon us Serfs to fund the above tyrannical problems we are discussing.
