Santo Domingo.- A Dominican merchant identified as Eldemiro González, 54, who in a jealous rage opened fire with two guns against his family, killing his son Adrian, 7, and seriously injured his ex wife Johanna, 31, and their other son Edryn ,11.
The attacker was later shot dead by a Paterson Police lieutenant.
The New Jersey authorities said the tragedy occurred at 9 a.m. Saturday after the Dominican woman was taking her children to a MacDonald’s restaurant, and that the man had a long history of domestic violence.
The woman’s relatives, friends and neighbors said Gonzalez was obsessed with returning with Johanna after she had left him, and constantly threatened to kill her, but the bullet failed to hit its target, and took the life of his youngest son instead, as Paterson’s Dominican and Latino community reel in shock.
The Police said to commit the crime the attacker violated a restraining order against approaching Johanna.

What horrible act......Tis the season where the BEST and WORST of Human Nature MANIFESTS. Last year it was the friend of a friend's Family who were killed called "The Santa killings".
ONE HAS TO ASK WHO ARE THE REAL VICTIMS................THE SURVIVING CHILDREN.
My understanding of that part of "Sharia law" death is carried by a Family member in order to erase the shame and embarrassment brought on by the Female adulteress behavior and restore Her families honor.
The lucky ones who live there considered outcast and labeled "USED GOODS".
I wonder how many Men in the DR would fall into that category.
