Congratulations to the whole Pineda family, including our esteemed Jorge Pineda, the outspoken editor of DT.
Judge Diccia Pineda has come a long way from Baitoa, Santiago. We need about 1000 more like her in the DR to give credibility to our judicial system.

Generoso is right on, we need an army of Diccia Pineda (male or female) to revitalize faith in DR's judicial system. I best wished to Judge Pineda-Kirwan, may God bless her always and may she uphold the law in a just and righteous way for all citizens.

I hope our youth will take notice of the Judge's accomplishments and use that as motivation to grab their own future by the horns in order to become the best they can be thus making a positive contribution to their country and communities, as well as the old country of Quisqueya.

Ms. Pineda, i hope that you look into the many cases of our Dominican youth that are simply sitting in the docket collecting dust while they collect years behind bars. I hope that you are brave enough to deal with these issues and not fear the rage that is coming to you from the jail system investors.

Right now in the U.S. there are agencies that their only job is to determine how many fourth graders are pre-determined to do some jail time and therefore, use that data to determine how many new cells to built to meet the demand.

The U.S. has the largest number of inmates in the WORLD with a great majority of them being African Americans and Hispanics. The total number is about 3 million inmates, more than many countries.

Look at the great State of Texas, the state with the greatest number of death penalties and the greatest number of wrongful convictions and executions, LOL. What a justice system they have down there, lol. Ms. Pineda, do not allow NY to be another TX.
