NEW YORK.- The Dominican Consul in New York announced it will provide services to Dominicans who live in the State of Pennsylvania between 10 and 4 p.m. next Sunday, in the Dominican Retailers Association Philadelphia offices.
Rafael Evans said it’s the first mobile consulate in that city, located three hours from New York’s metropolitan area and home to thousands of Dominicans.
He said the consulate aims to help his compatriots in Pennsylvania save time and money, by not having to go to New York to for those services.
Among the new documents and renewals available are biometric passports, powers of attorney for different procedures in Santo Domingo, travel authorizations for minors, pension collections and others. The Retailers Association is located on 4601 North Front St.
Other consulate services are planned for Sunday, November 15 in the Retailers Association on 95 Park Street, Hartford Connecticut; Sunday, the 22nd in Haverstraw, New York, and returns to Philadelphia on December 6 and in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on Sunday the 13th.

I'm surprised as well. PA has a large Dominican community that just keeps growing and growing...hell, in the 90s there were no Dominicans in Lehigh Valley...go there now. Same thing with other parts of PA.
