Santo Domingo. - Taiwan president Ma Ying-jeou brought US$5 million in initial aid for Haiti, National Palace sources said once his meeting with president Leonel Fernandez and Haitian Prime Minister Jean Max Bellerive concluded.
The Haitian official said Taipei will provide cooperation to his country, whereas Dominican Foreign Relations minister Carlos Morales said Ma came to ask Fernandez’s advice as to how and in what area to materialize the aid.
Morales said Taiwan’s President stated a willingness to help with prefabricated houses.
Also present in the encounter were Haiti ambassador Fritz Cineas and Dominican par Rubén Silié.

Given all the import taxes LIE-onel Fernandez and the PLD have saddled the Dominican people and economy with, by the time that money arrives in Haiti it might total US $5,000 after the final ultimate tax!
Better known as THE CORRUPTION SURCHARGE!
LIE-onel Fernandez has a "COUSIN", I mean a "HAND" in EVERYTHING.
He and the PLD are "hands in" type of guys, you know!
