Copiapó, Chile. - After a 48 minute suspension to repair parts of the pod "Fénix 2," the rescue resumed early Wednesday of the 33 miners trapped 700 meters below the surface since August 5 in the mine San José, in northern Chile.

Osmán Araya, 30, was the sixth rescued of 33, who emerged from the depths at 5:35 a.m. (08: 34 GMT), one hour and 24 minutes after Jimmy Sanchez, 19, while Florencio Ávalos was the first to surface.

As of early Wednesday, eight miners have been pulled up from the mine.

Yes thnx to NASA's transport technique and the help of all the rescue workers it was possible!.

All out thank God! What an experience. As the last rescuer said, this must bring adjustments to mining and other workers' conditions in Chile... and in many other countries where security is not what it should be.

however, I want to know how these people emerged from 69 days of hell, with no scratches on there faces, so healthy and most of them had perfectly groomed hair and goat tees?
