Santo Domingo.- To present Dominican society the diverse government proposals from the main candidates to Haiti’s presidency, the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (FUNGLODE) has organized a cycle of conferences with those hopefuls.

The initiative arose under the premise that the neighboring country’s political, economic and social destiny will be defined by the vision of those who assume the reins of government for the next term in office.

“That’s the reason for the spread and discussion of the proposals from the candidates and which form a fundamental part of the concerns not only for the Haitian nation, but which also extend into Dominican Republic,” FUNGLODE said in an emailed statement.

It said the cycle, which began August 31, continues at 7 p.m. today with the Leslie Voltaire, in the entity’s auditorium.

Mr Voltaire, if you wanna win the election in Haiti, just take the 2 million Hatians we have back home, and you'll win by a land slide.

This is Leslie's third visit there in a month. I am starting to wonder what Leslie and Leonel are cooking for the Haitian people?

A mulatto president in Haiti? That would be first in ages wouldn't be? He also seems to have some some strong Taino or Asiatic heritage.

"Jarabacao" take that outta ur mouth fool, if only u knew what ur NAME means on here. don't mess with my haitian people. didn't u bite ur lips after dat. they were da 1st ones to be free always remember that even if none of wouldn't want to. i'm not haitian but we're nothing better. ya'll think haitians want HAITI that way, other countries with grudges do ok. so i'm just saying i'm proud to be a haitian nation friend, they're everywhere. places you dont even think of. so help instead of trying to be what you can't be. go read, do some research, that helps ur mind.
