PRESS RELEASE

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico- Late yesterday afternoon, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) arrested a wanted felon at the San Juan Bay Marina, after arriving on board a private vessel from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

CBP Officers inspected Lucinda Oliver, 65, at arrival on board private vessel “Soul Mate”.

Upon systems query, Ms. Oliver’s name revealed a positive record to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), with a warrant issued by the US District Court of the US Virgin Islands, for charges related to bribery concerning program receiving federal funds, false statements, and unlawful possession of a firearm.  

CBP verified the warrant with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

CBP transferred Ms. Olvier’s custody to the FBI for further proceedings. 

“CBP officers are always vigilant of all wanted individuals who try to move freely, trying to elude detection,” said Marcelino Borges, Director of Field Operations for Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands.

No disrespect to the good, hard working and honest people of the Dominican Republic but idiots like the poster above by Shit-eating0398 gives people the idea that all DOMOs are the same.
I know that not all DOMOs are idiots like Shit-eating0398 because I have lived in that country several times.
As for Puerto Rico being mentioned in a derogatory manner by shiting0398, he / she perhaps has not been allowed to obtain legal travel papers. This is because he / she would not write what was posted here if travel was allowed to this idiot outside of the DR.
Shit-eating0398 would not say such things in PR.

As for Puerto Ricans not being United States citizens there goes your intellectual hyperbole.
The people of Puerto Rico are legal US citizen unlike the shitings0389 that rrive in yolas to PR trying to get into the US or marrying someone here for legal status.
