NEW YORK.- The National Independence Prize, of the Dominican General Consulate in Boston and community organizations, will recognize several Dominicans in the state in political, social, cultural, sports and corporative activities in Massachusetts and New England, for their outstanding contributions to the community.
Diplomatic delegation chief Dominico Cabral said the award is part of the Mother Nation Month celebrations, whose agenda include conferences on Independence’s value and legacy and on Juan Pablo Duarte, founder of the Dominican Identity.
Community leaders and personalities will be present in the award ceremony slated for Wednesday, the 24th in the consular offices, where the most important community activist in each of the cities of New England will be bestowed with the prize.

Imagine you threw a lavish party and no one cared or attended. That's what we have here.

I imagine the bidding to be "honored" has begun just in time for the May 16 "democratic" election!
