Kingston.– A Dominican man identified by Jamaican police as 23-year-old businessman George Miguel Silvero Santos is likely to appear before the courts next week facing charges of molesting a 13-year-old minor in Mandeville on Friday.

According to the police, the child was taken to a popular restaurant in Mandeville –103 km west of Kingston–, at about 7:00 pm where he was given $500 by an adult. The child was then taken to the restaurant's restroom where it is alleged that the adult inserted a finger into his anus.

Jamaican press reported that Santos was arrested and charged following police investigations.

Once he gets to jail, justice will take its own natural and inevitable course; better yet, unlike in DR [that lawless and corrupt state of ours], he will not be able to buy his way out of a Jamaican jail. One of the great legacies of the British Empire is its judicial code and integrity.

No pity or mercy for this perverted child molester. And, no, please don't repatriate him to DR, and let him rot in a Jamaican jail, where this heinous and despicable crime was perpetuated, and where an innocent child was condemned to a life of shame and harassment and psychological suffering.

Bastard!

Those are the comments of a person with no respect for her neighbour.
I am glad I did not know this person.

notwithstanding the disgust I have for child abuse, there is a dreadful scam in the DR , where a mother accuses a man , normally a young man who has sufficient money , of having sex with her underage daughter and then tells the man to give her money or she will report it to the police .Normally the young man is innocent but has to pay the money or risk 10 years in prison ..I believe this is common in San Pedro .

"a finger into his anus" ... "could of used better words"

I agree, but realistically, I don't think there are too many ways to explain this in a pretty picture without eliminating the whole finger in the anus, finger in the rectum thing. Sad for the child, but I have to admin, the whole "finger in the anus" actually being written did have me rolling on the floor laughing.

on the money,Ricardolito. in a case with which i am familiar, an older gringo was living with a 14 year old girl for nearly a year. suddenly , the parents threatened to report him to the police, if he did not pony up close to 100 large. so, to save his ass, he did. the dad just took the money and buggered off back to Imbert, leaving the girl with gringo. i guess the scenario will repeat itself when he needs parts for the passola he bought with gringos money.

actually, glomar, i think that the jamaican judiciary is going to go through the motions of mounting a trial, finding him innocent or guilty, and deporting him if he is guilty. one thing i can assure you of is that he will receive a fair trial, with stellar representation. now, now, people. please do not start wondering if i am supporting a child molester, now.

Dread I am sure you are correct as the judicial system in Jamaica is based on the law of the Old Bailey and a man is innocent until proven guilty. In other words, the prosecution must prove it´s case within reasonable doubt . In the DR it is the opposite where a person must prove his innocence which is difficult when one may be banged up in prison awaiting trial.

yes, Ricardolito, in the jamaican judicial system, there is no such thing as confining someone to preventive custody, because that presupposes guilt, and is a form of sentencing him before a trial.

at least, El Factor, in jamaica he will end up before a judge. he will not be able to just pay off the fiscal and walk.

besides, Factor, you should try to be smart when you are going to throw around such bons mots. consider the reputation for corruption and payoffs in your own country before you start attempting to make such remarks about others.

If one put aside the hygienic aspect, I wonder what kind of pleasure will motivate this man to stick his finger into the anus of a teenage boy.

This story sounds too made up, something there doesn't add up...If he's a DR business man, why would he go to Jamaica, which is known worldwide for rampant homophobia and commit an act of pedophilia with the same sex?? Why would this man risk his life there when he could probably do much more sinister things in DR and get away with it??

Lets see how this case fans out......regarding possible "sinister things" being done in the DR only God, George and his possible victims know.

RAPE: any penetration with any foreign object [to include all body parts], without concent, threat by force or deception.....A 13 year old can not give concent with violating laws that are supose to protect Children from criminal sexual acts. Adults should know better including the adults who set up the the situation / encounter. I say......Jail the adult SOB who made the meeting possible.
