Washington.– The Organization of American States (OAS) will co-host the Renewable Energy Meeting and Site Visit for Energy Ministers from Central America and the Caribbean along the U.S. and Brazil, the U.S. Department of State announced on Wednesday.

The renewable energy meeting will took place in South Florida from Thursday to Saturday. The meeting is part of the U.S.-Brazil Bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance Cooperation on Biofuels.

The MOU is led by the State Department and Brazil's Ministry of External Relations and it makes possible the exchange of experiences between both countries on sustainable biofuels. It also enables the exchange of information to countries in Central American and in the Caribbean, places which have unique opportunities for the development and local use of biofuels.

The OAS, through its Department of Sustainable Development, supports technical assistance and policy reform activities in each of the third-party countries like the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti, Guatemala, Jamaica, and St. Kitts and Nevis.

Talk, talk, talk.

Make import tax of solar panels and electric cars 0% for ALL taxes and do not make up other taxes like you did with CAFTA car taxes.

Dumb asses.

Well, this makes so much sense. This renewable energy is actually being used in Florida, so for countries like the DR, this could be great.
