New York.– Two men have been charged with the theft of approximately $4,800 from Mount Airy Casino Resort in Pennsylvania by manipulating chips at the roulette wheels, state police said.

According to the police report, Antonio DeJesus Bultron, 27, of Bloomington, Ill., and Jairo Rafael Gomez Abreu, 29, of the Dominican Republic, were taken into custody at the casino for theft by unlawful taking.

The men conspired to defraud the casino by surreptitiously swapping chips of the same color but different values while playing the roulette tables. Bultron carried out the same scheme with a different accomplice last Saturday, police said.

Amazingly the highest turnover rate in the casinos is for the dealers. They actually believe that stealing from a casino is easy. While the equipment used is not state of the art, and the supervision isn't what it is supposed to be the casinos still catch 90%of the thieves in the first week. You would be amazed to find out how many get caught every week.
