Port-au-Prince.– The Minister for Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE), Daniel Supplice, left Haiti for his first mission in the United States, where he will meet with members of the Haitian-American Diaspora.
According to the Haitian press, the official will stay in New York from November 26-30, where he is planning to attend the Miss Haiti International Beauty Pageant on November 27th.
On December 2 he will attend the tenth anniversary of the Coalition of Haitian-American Professionals (HACP) reception, in which he will be the keynote speaker. The minister will return to Haiti on December 4th.

Diaspora minister?
So what does he do when back in Haiti?
Let's hope they do right for their people and the state of Haiti.
You are blind if you can see that everything that happened in Haiti affects the DR in one way or another positive or negative. The better the Haitians people do economically the less illegal will cross the border and that’s a fact. The only reason they risk their lives by crossing is to look for a better life, just like we do. We risk our lives by swimming across el Canal de la Mona to Puerco Rico looking for better life.
