Segovia, Spain. - The Spanish Police has dismantled a cocaine laboratory in Segovia (central), an operation with five people arrested, four Dominicans and one Ecuadorian, EFE reports today quoting official sources.
It said the detainees, already charged with drug trafficking, are two women and three men. One is a Dominican woman, 35, identified only with her initials J.R.N.; the three men, identified as R.T.M., 47; E.A.A.M., 31, and M.P.N., 44, all Dominican nationals, and an Ecuadorian woman L.G.L., 27.
EFE reports that as the result of the month-long investigation, the agents searched several apartments and seized 205 grams of cocaine, with which the lab was capable of producing more than 1,000 doses, with a street value of more than 29,800 Euros (around 44,000 dollars).
Also seized were considerable amounts of substances used to cut the drug, pressing and preparation equipment, scales and other items to process and market cocaine.
