Haiti needs to focus on educating its people. Without that, nothing will change. The international community can help by offering scholarships and direct investment and involvement in infrastructure rebuilding to international standards.

In my humble opinion, it will be on the better interest of the Haitian people to look for ways to attract foreign investment, than asking part of the international community to adopt French as the business language or the lifting of Visas requirements for Haitians. I believe, Haiti's President should be addressing foreign investors and assure them that the Haitian government is fully committed in providing the best environment for their investment. The key for Haitian success is foreign investment.
