New York.– A13-year-old Dominican teen died and his cousin was hospitalized in critical condition Friday evening, after rescuers pulled them out of the Bronx River, in New York, police authorities reported.

Erickson Villa and his cousin Gavin Wellington, also 13, both students at the Herman Ridder Intermediate School, were hanging out with friends on a dock in Starlight Park near E. 172nd St. when they leapt into the river about 3:10 p.m., the police said.

NYPD spokesman Stephen Davis said witnesses saw them jump in and swim out and then they lost sight of them. Neither cousin knew how to swim.

Where were the stupid parents of these kids when they were playing a dangerous game, when you dont know where your kid is at that age you should be responsible for them then.

Those parents do not worry about kids. They only worry about welfare checks when they do not get them on time

Get a ticket, gethehelloutahere.
Why don't you just shut up? As the king of Spain said to Chavez.
Family just lost a child , dumkoff. Have some sensitivity.
If the family were on welfare, it at least means they are in the country legally. Which is more than we can say of your compatriots begging on our streets.
Double dumkoff.
